She asks Cloud to make that promise at the well before he left, during crisis core/before crisis it's clear that Tifa worries over Cloud, himself being ashamed of coming out not being who he promised to be yet, then I think he's desensitized to what feelings he had because he takes on a new personality, Tifa helping him find his true self here as well. I'm kind of a die hard Zerith fan too. Aerith was only interested in the Zack that was emulated through Cloud. |
I detest any LTD debates on this blog, but I have to comment on your last sentence because it is wrong. Nomura has clearly stated over and over that Aerith may of saw some similarities, but came to the conclusion that Cloud is different from Zack, and she loves him much more. She no longer has feelings for Zack in the present, and this is stated by Aerith and Nomura themselves, again. On top of that, their relationship has been described with these words: juvenile, naive, platonic, and non-intimate. I will gladly provide you with the quotes/sources if you come off anon. | |

Remember at the end of Kingdom Hearts II, during the credits, Squall was reading that random letter and a little pair of wings fluttered up and out? Theory has it that that means Rinoa will appear in the next Kingdom Hearts, and hey, that would be cool, but I’m not a big fan of Rinoa so I’m kind of hoping not. I like the Final Fantasy cast in Kingdom Hearts the way it is. | |
